We’re looking for a proactive and experienced QA Lead Engineer to take charge of our testing strategy and processes.

Visma Devenor is a software company offering versatile SaaS solutions for companies of all sizes. Our products include the Movenium construction site management system and the Otta time tracking solution. Our other product family, Megaflex, focuses on access control as well as work and space management solutions.

What will you do

You’ll be responsible for developing and leading our quality assurance practices across all product lines. Your role is to bring structure and consistency to how we ensure quality.

In this role, you’ll design and implement credible, systematic testing plans for our business-critical SaaS and IoT solutions. You get to take ownership of the testing strategy and work hands-on with the team to ensure the quality of our products.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Defining and developing approval and acceptance testing processes for both software and hardware products

• Building automated testing frameworks and introducing new tools such as Robot Framework or Cypress

• Creating structured and risk-based test plans for SaaS and IoT systems

• Collaborating closely with development, hardware, and compliance teams to ensure reliability and audit readiness

• Ensuring our products meet relevant standards such as DORA, NIS-2, and ISO 27001

What we expect from you

This role is a great fit for an experienced QA professional with a technical, hands-on mindset, and proven ability to define strategic direction. Success requires balancing a strategic big-picture view with an eagerness to do practical work. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, takes ownership, and enjoys improving things in a pragmatic, step-by-step way.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least 8 years of experience in software testing or QA leadership

• Solid understanding of QA processes, strategies, and best practices

• Experience with low-level hardware programming or hardware testing.

• Proven experience in building or improving automated testing setup.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience in regulated or safety-critical domains

• Understanding of security frameworks or quality certifications

• Familiarity with risk-based testing and modern compliance requirements (such as DORA or ISO 27001)

• Background in SaaS and/or IoT environments

While we offer flexible hybrid work, this role requires occasional hands-on work with our hardware, so we’re looking for someone based in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
